The 2010 reunion was held in N. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Headquarters hotel  was the Hamptom Inn Harborgate.  The weather was hot and humid.  The air conditioning was not working in the public areas of the hotel, which made for a uncomfortable stay.  One of our organizers called Hampton Inn Hotels complaining. The situation was better by the end of our visit.

Most reunion weeks, there have been suggested sight-seeing places, some planned tours, etc. This year, those of us here for the first couple days are being left us to fend for ourselves - plan our own sight-seeing.  Most meals were not a group meal. Folks gathered at breakfast (complimentary for hotel guests), and headed on their own.

Evening gatherings were in the hospitality room.  There the poker tourament and Bunko/dominos tournaments were held.

I took the oportunity to play tourist, shoot photos, and explore bicycle trails on the way to and from the reunion.  My first stop was Chattanooga for 3 nights.  While in Chatanooga, I toured Rock City and Ruby Halls.  Had 2 great morning bicycle rides in the Chickamauga Battlefield. Checked out Tanasi Trails and drove the Cherohala Skyway.

The next stop was Augusta, GA. That stop was to ride FATS - the Forks Area Trail System.  Had a very enjoyable ride on the Skinny Loop

On the way home I stopped in Asheville, NC.  There, I toured Biltmore and the North Carolin Arboretum.  Rode trails at Bent Creek and Tsali.  Drove a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Finally, spent a couple days in Great Smoky Mountains National Park..
