After checking out of my room in Hurricane, UT, I stopped at the Mesquite State of Nevada Information Center.  Picked up maps and information.  Knew that I wanted to tour Valley of Fire State Park on the way to Las Vegas.  The park is another of the "red rock" parks common in the SouthWest.  Just a little off I-15, its east to get to.

Some beautiful scenery.  Stopped for a few photos.

Still had some time I could kill on the way to Las Vegas.  Instead of driving to I15, I took the scenic route through Lake Meade National Recreation Area.  Dropped me into in Henderson, NV.

Took a couple photos of the drive from Valley of Fire, through Lake Meade NRC, to Las Vegas.
