Once I settled in Las Vegas. one of my first places I headed to was Red Rock Canyon.  I stopped at a bike shop (local Trek dealer) for where to ride on the way over to Red Rock.  To find Red Rock Canyon National Consercation Area, head West on Charleston.  The area is about 17 miles from the Las Vegas strip.

There is a fee for entering the area ($10 as I recall).  From the Visitors Center, there is a 13 miles one-way road through the canyon.  PLEASE share the road - the scenic road is popular for cyclists.

Here's some my my images of Red Rock Canyon.
