Some of the reunion attendees took a tour bus over to Hoover Dam.  I stopped by on my way out of town.  Fisrt thing I notices was the security stop as I approched the dam.

I have toured the dam during previous trip to Las Vegas.  However, there is a new parking garage structure and new Visitor's Center.  I parked in the garage ($7) and walked down to the dam.  Do pets alloed in the garage! I could have gone under the roadway and up to the visitor's center, but signs say metal detectors were used.  I did not want to have to deal with then with my camera and such.

Walked part-way on the dam.  Took a few photos.  The big thing I wanted to see was the new bridge across the canyon. The mail road now crosses the bridge.  I have heard that the drive over the dam is a dead-end.  No exit back to the road on the Arizona side of the dam.

Took a few photos of the dam, Lake Meade, and the new bridge.  Lake is low the most I have seen.  One of our group thouth is was 22" low. If 22 was the number, its FEET low.
