At this time, I have made 2 trips to Santa Fe, Winter and Spring.  Was planning to take the RailRunner.  February, it was a little cool to ride around.  May, I took the RailRunner but left the bike in Albuquerque - needed a day off the bike.

February, I stopped at a friend's candy factory and toured the Loretto Chapel. The chapel is best known for the spiral staircase.  Here's a couple photos of the chapel and staircase.

Since May trip was vie RailRunner and no bike, I mostly did a walking tour of downtown.  From the RailRunner depot, I took the shuttle bus to the Plaza (did not know how far it was).  Walked around the plaza, toured the Georia O'Keeffe Museum and gallery.  Saw (did not go in) the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis Assisi. By then, it was lunch at San Francisco Street Bar & Grill. Photos on the Plaza.

Misc shots during my walking tour.  In addition to the Cathederal, I saw San Miguel Mission, the oldest house in Santa Fe, and the Bataan Memorial.

"Rounding out" the tour of downtown Santa Fe was the state capitol, known as The Roundhouse.

That was enough walking.  Found The Junction, a sports bar & grill at the Railyard.  Just what I needed - a couple of pnts of Santa Fe Pale Ale to quench my thirst before raking the train back to Albusuwerque.
